Eric Lamaze of Canada once again proved his mettle, capturing the coveted Grand Prix title in La Baule, France, this week. He piloted his magnificent mare Hickstead, a powerful chestnut mare owned by Canadian businessman John Fleischhacker, to victory.
Lamaze’s performance was nothing short of remarkable, showcasing his trademark accuracy and speed throughout the course. Ludger Beerbaum of Germany, who took silver, provided strong competition. In Stuttgart, Isabell Werth, Germany’s dressage powerhouse, showcased her extraordinary abilities, securing a resounding victory in the Grand Prix Special. Riding the majestic gelding, Satchmo, she danced through the movements with unparalleled finesse. EnduranceCEI Oman
Under the scorching Omani sun, a gruelling endurance race unfolded.
The Emirati team proved unbeatable, led by the exceptional Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He conquered the challenging terrain aboard his impressive mare, Wajih. The Emirates claimed a triumphant first place in the race, a testament to their dedication and prowess in endurance racing.
CEI Jordan
The Jordanian Endurance Championship showcased impressive feats of horsemanship and stamina. The country’s endurance riders demonstrated remarkable endurance and horsemanship, with Khalid Al Khawaldeh securing first place, riding the resilient Khaleef.
PoloPolo World Cup, Buenos Aires, Argentina
The stage was set for the pinnacle of international polo, with the Polo World Cup roaring into life in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A packed stadium vibrated with anticipation as Argentina's star player Adolfo Cambiaso, known as “El Mago,” took the field alongside his teammates, aiming to secure a fourth consecutive World Cup title. The Argentines are renowned for their exceptional polo skills and a thrilling match is expected.
