Geoffroy Ferrand, one of our brightest hopes, took a commanding lead in the qualifying round with a brilliant performance aboard his powerful mare, La Belle Rouge. His strategy was a thing of beauty; he held her back early, letting the mare feel the pressure, then launched into a breathtakingly swift final lap, securing a commanding lead. This young rider's dedication and passion are undeniable, and he's certainly one to watch.
In Geneva, the atmosphere at the CHI Geneva, Europe's oldest international horse show, was electric as Peter Charles turned on the charm. As the dust settles at Cheltenham, the racing world's gaze shifts towards Aintree, the home of the most famous steeplechase of them all – the Grand National! It's just a month away! The preparations are already in high gear, and the atmosphere is crackling with anticipation.
Our pick for a likely contender for the Grand National this year is Tiger Roll.
