Showjumping: British Hopes Rise in Amsterdam

Across the North Sea, at the Dutch Masters in Amsterdam, British riders are starting to make their mark. Last night, in the Grand Prix, Michael Whitaker had a magnificent clear round with his trusty steed, Calvaro, leaving him in contention for a place in the jump-off. The crowd went wild for this dynamic duo as they flew through the course. We have high hopes that Whitaker could snatch a top spot on this final day. Let's give him all our support!

Dressage: A German Triumph in Florida

Further afield, the US Dressage Festival in Florida has been showcasing incredible riding talent. German rider, Isabell Werth, stole the show, claiming victory with the magnificent gelding Gigolo. The duo's effortless movements and perfect harmony left the judges spellbound, with Werth demonstrating why she's one of the undisputed greats in the dressage world. The competition here is truly fierce, with the top American riders, such as Debbie McDonald and Robert Dover, pushing Werth to her limits.

Eventing: The Young Ones Shine in Kentucky

The excitement continues in America, where the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event has seen the younger generation rise to the fore. The Cross-Country phase threw up some thrilling action, with young British rider, Pippa Funnell, and the gallant gelding, Primm, navigating the tough course flawlessly. Pippa's youthful enthusiasm and tactical riding prowess were evident as she sailed through the demanding obstacles, a potential challenger for the top spots in the coming days.

Breeding: A Champion's Legacy Continues

Closer to home, we are delighted to report on the arrival of a healthy foal by the legendary stallion, Heartbreaker. This is fantastic news for the British breeding scene and is sure to generate a lot of interest from discerning horse owners. With Heartbreaker’s legacy, this foal has the potential to be a star in the making.

Racing: The Festival Begins at Cheltenham

As we head into the second week of February, the racing scene bursts into life with the Cheltenham Festival. We are eagerly awaiting the highlights of the festival, especially the Champion Hurdle and the Cheltenham Gold Cup, which are sure to be nail-biting races!
