This pair continued their phenomenal run of form, outpacing seasoned competitors to claim the top prize in a tightly contested event. This win was no small feat, considering the caliber of competition and the high stakes of the Grand Prix.
It wasn’t just Jeroen Dubbeldam shining for the Netherlands. Olympic medalist, Eric Lamaze from Canada, had a great performance with "Esprit," a chestnut gelding owned by I. & A. & P. Stern, making it to the jump-off round and finishing in 3rd place, placing the Canadians well. The Swiss were represented strongly by Steve Guerdat and “Jenson,” but unfortunately couldn't challenge the Dutch dominance, finishing 6th overall.
