This year’s opening week saw a dominant performance from Eric Lamaze, Canada's star rider, winning the first two classes of the Great American $100,000. This competition promises to be a highlight of the season.
  • Meanwhile, the Jumping International de Bordeaux is set to take place in France, bringing together some of the best show jumpers in the world for a thrilling contest. The world of breeding continues to see brisk activity as the breeding season draws near.

  • The Hanoverian Stallion Licensing, which took place last month, has garnered international interest. Amongst the notable youngsters selected were For Romance, a bay colt by For Pleasure, and Sunny-Boy, a chestnut colt by Sandro Hit, both displaying promising qualities for a successful career in sport.
  • Meanwhile, the Tattersalls December Foal Sale held in England attracted significant interest from both national and international buyers, highlighting the growing global demand for exceptional foals. Notably, the top-priced foal, a bay filly by the influential sire In the Spotlight, fetched a whopping £200,000, showcasing the premium prices attached to pedigree and quality.
